Nick Brown, DVM
Medical Director
I’ve always loved working with animals and people. Initially growing up in Chicago, I moved to Washington State at the age of fifteen and fell in love with everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. My first introduction to veterinary medicine came in 2004 and everything seemed to click. I completed an associate’s degree on San Juan Island at Skagit Valley College, received my Bachelors of Science from The Evergreen State College, completed my pre-clinical veterinary education at Ross University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, then finished my clinical curriculum at Oregon State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. I greatly enjoy nearly all aspects of veterinary medicine but have a special interest in internal medicine, specifically endocrinology, as well as ultrasound. Following veterinary school, my wife (also a veterinarian) and I couldn’t wait to get back to Western Washington. We’ve spent the past 6 years in Olympia and decided to move to Snohomish to be closer to family. Much of my free time is spent at home with my wife and our family of 2 human children, 7 furry ones, and a few with gills. When I do have some extra time I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as SCUBA diving, kayaking, hiking, and photography. I am so excited to meet you and your family, and I can’t wait to begin our lifelong journey!

Becky Wang, DVM
Doctor
Hello! I am Dr. Becky Wang and I am thrilled to be a part of the Snohomish Station Animal Hospital Team.
I grew up in the amazing Pacific Northwest and moved right back after veterinary school. I completed my undergraduate degree at Western Washington University and graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. I enjoy being able to help grow the human-animal bond between furry family members and their people. Getting to know my clients and being part of the team that helps their furry family members is the best part of my job. My interests are preventative medicine, behavior, nutrition and dermatology, but I truly love all aspects of general veterinary medicine.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, my two boys (JJ and Tommy), my husband Brandon and our adorable and sassy one-eyed cat Caly. Watching my kids grow and experience new thing, outdoor family activities, baseball and dance classes are some of my favorite hobbies not related to veterinary medicine.
I cannot wait to meet you and your furry family members and hope to be providing them with a lifetime of care.

Emily re-joined the Snohomish Station Animal Hospital team in July 2021, bringing with her a wealth of experience in Veterinary care. She started her career in the Veterinary industry in 2016 after graduating from Washington State University with her Bachelor’s in Animal Science with a focus in Veterinary Medicine.
Emily’s passion for animals led her to start as a Kennel Attendant and then transition into a Receptionist role at SSAH in 2017, where she not only cared for patients, but also provided support for the clients, sharing in their joys and helping them through the tough times. After getting married, she moved out of the area and pursued non-Veterinary opportunities but found a desire to return to the industry once more but in a more administrative role. She was able to pursue an Assistant Manager role in a Veterinary clinic, which eventually led her back to Snohomish Station as the Practice Manager.

Vanessa
Licensed Vet Technician
Hi! My name is Vanessa and I am new to Snohomish county. I am a Veterinary Technician with certification and licensure in CA and WA state. I graduated from University of California Riverside with a B.A. in Chemistry in 2011, and decided to pursue the path of a veterinary technician. I graduated from an AVMA accredited program in CA earning my A.S. Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2015, and accumulated a variety of experience in day practice, ER and exotic animal medicine. Before leaving CA and after hiking 650 miles of the PCT (end of Feb-mid June), I made my way out to Seattle. Now I currently live in Lake Stevens and getting the full experience of WA’s weather!
As a child, I always wanted to help animals, and was suggested to work towards becoming a veterinarian. After discovering that veterinary technicians existed, I knew I was better suited for the position as a technical learner. I enjoy working in the veterinary field to be able to provide support and education to help families make informed decisions in hopes of improving their pet’s quality of life.
When not working, I enjoy exploring new places and just being out with nature. Hobbies include painting, reading books, rock climbing, archery, fishing, hiking, and backcountry camping. I am fortunate to have some relatives out here with plenty of furry companions for my enrichment needs (ferrets, chickens, guinea pig, dogs, & cats). Extra large dog breeds have my heart, someday I would love to adopt from the Great Pyrenees rescue once we have a proper home in order!
I am excited to be a part of Snohomish Station Animal Hospital and can’t wait to meet you and your fur kids!
