Jennifer Koenig, DVM
I grew up on a farm in rural Wisconsin. My family owned and raised dairy cows, dogs, cats, horses, goats, and sheep. I spent my childhood days gallivanting about on my horse for hours on end and caring for all of the other critters in the barn. Needless to say, my family and friends were not surprised when I pursued a career in veterinary medicine.
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and then continued on my collegiate path at Iowa State University, earning a degree in 2006 from The College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon earning my DVM, I completed an equine internship in Scottsdale, Arizona. Soon after, I relocated to the Snohomish area where I continued to practice equine medicine for an additional year before making the decision to change my focus to dogs and cats. As a veterinarian, I enjoy the diversity of general practice with a particular interest in preventive care, dermatology and chronic disease management. I joined Snohomish Station Animal Hospital in January of 2015 and have loved every minute of it!
In my free time I enjoy snuggling with my two dogs, Booker (Boxer mix) and Monkey (American Staffordshire Terrier), hiking, photography and horseback riding.
I look forward to meeting you and caring for your furry family members for years to come!
Becky Wang, DVM
Hello! I am Dr. Becky Wang and I am thrilled to be a part of the Snohomish Station Animal Hospital Team.
I grew up in the amazing Pacific Northwest and am excited to be back in western Washington. I completed my undergraduate degree at Western Washington University and graduated from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. I enjoy being able to help grow the human-animal bond between furry family members and their people. My current interests are preventative medicine, behavior, nutrition and dermatology, but I truly love all aspects of general veterinary medicine.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband Brandon and our adorable and sassy one-eyed cat Caly. Outdoor family activities, baseball and dance classes are some of my favorite hobbies not related to veterinary medicine.
I cannot wait to meet you and your furry family members and hope to be providing them with a lifetime of care.
Dr. Skaggs, DVM
I have lived in the beautiful Pacific Northwest since 2003 and am very excited to join the amazing team at Snohomish Station Animal Hospital. Prior to moving to the NW I grew up in a small rural town in Kansas where I spent my days riding my horse for hours, camping, running around the woods with my dog, and in general being outside as much as possible.
After graduating from a small private college in Kansas I obtained my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. I then completed a year-long equine internship at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in 2004 and worked at Pilchuck from 2003 until early 2013 as an equine ambulatory clinician.
In 2013, I switched my focus to small animal practice with an emphasis on preventative care. I strive to strengthen the human/animal bond by enabling pets to live the best life possible with their humans.
When no working I enjoy hiking and camping with my dog Ferra, a Catahoula mix who is more than slightly obsessed with fetching tennis balls. I also enjoy riding my horse (Gigi) as well as catching a good live band when possible.
My name is Ellie and I’m the practice manager here at Snohomish Station Animal Hospital! I come to Snohomish Station Animal Hospital with experience in both general practice and specialty/emergency medicine. I began my career in veterinary medicine as a kennel attendant, but I learned along the way my true passion is the administrative side of the practice. My job is to make sure that Snohomish Station Animal Hospital is operating smoothly so that all the doctors and staff members can focus on providing you and your furry kids with exceptional care.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, our Maltese-mix Yolo and our two kittens Gunner and Chloe! We enjoy hiking, going to the beach, going to the dog park, or spending time by the water! On Sundays we root for the Seahawks!
I can’t wait to meet you, and your furry kids!
Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician
My name is Savanna, I have been a veterinary technician for 4 years. I’m from a small town in Ohio where I graduated from the Bradford Veterinary Technician Institute with my degree in Animal Science and Technology. I have had my technician license in 3 different states, but the Pacific Northwest is where I call home. My favorite part of my job is (of course!) the puppies and the kittens, but seeing and helping pets bounce back from the worst conditions truly brings me the most joy. I have 2 kitties, Tesla and Rasta. Contrary to how much I complain about how crazy they are, I love them to pieces. When I’m not working I enjoy painting, a vast variety of music, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
Licensed Vet Technician
My name is Erika and I am one of the Licensed Veterinary Technicians here at Snohomish Station Animal Hospital. I attended Pima Medical Institute and graduated at the top of my class in Veterinary Technology. I came to Snohomish Station Animal Hospital as an intern from Pima and was invited to join the team. I have a plethora of animals in my home including three dogs (a Scottish terrier, a corgi, and a Pitt bull terrier mix), a red tail boa, a cat, and two tarantulas, all of whom I consider my family. I am dedicated to the utmost care of all animals and look forward to meeting your furry (or scaled!) baby.

Hello! My name is Andrea and I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician here at Snohomish Station Animal Hospital.I graduated from Vet Tech school in Tucson, AZ in 2008, and have loved working with small animals ever since. While I enjoyed living in the Southwest, my heart is in the Pacific Northwest. My husband, Zach, and I recently welcomed our first child in May 2017, a beautiful baby girl named Ember. We live in the Lake Stevens area with our goofy little Husky mix, Sabra. I enjoy pretty much anything that involves the outdoors, especially camping and hiking. My other main hobbies include traveling, cooking, and gardening.
Licensed Vet Technician
I have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for close to 15 years. I have been in the veterinary field pretty much since I was born, as my mom often took me to work with her as early as 10 weeks of age. Professionally, I have worked in emergency, specialty, exotic and general practices. I specifically enjoy general practice as I can get to know our patients and their families. I previously worked with Dr. Koenig at another practice and looked forward to a chance to work with her again at Snohomish Station.
During my off time I am studying human radiography and I breed and train clumber spaniels. This is a picture of my kitty, Sophie, who I rescued from a previous practice.

I have 4 dogs (Willa, Sven, Chanel, Junior), 3 cats (Mokey, Hudson and Jasmine) , 2 snakes (Jolie and Elvis), 2 hamsters (Cheech and Chong), 2 chameleons (Pascal and Ty) , 21crested gecko (Harley), 2 big fish tanks, a chinchilla (Bianca), a tortoise (Honu), a bearded dragon (M.J), a Quaker parrot and a husband (Andrew). I enjoy taking care of all the furry (and some not so furry) animals. I have had a passion for animals as long as I can remember and cannot see my life’s work revolving around anything else. Before joining SSAH, I was a dog groomer and loved it! I have a bearded dragon named Remy and a lab mix named Zoe. When I’m not working, I am usually spending time outside and with my family. I love being a part of Snohomish Station Animal Hospital and pursuing my career in Veterinary Medicine
Hello! My name’s Linnea and I’m a veterinary assistant! I’ve just finished my Vet Assisting course at Pima Medical Institute and plan on going back to get my license as a veterinary technician. I grew up in the Seattle area and always knew veterinary medicine was the field I wanted to go into. I am a Veterinary Assistant here at Snohomish Station Animal Hospital. I attended Pima Medical and received my Veterinary Assistant Certificate. I will be returning to school soon to obtain my Veterinary Technician License! I grew up in the Pacific North West and have loved animals my entire life. My plan is to find a specialty as a Veterinary Technician to further advance my career.
Hi! My name is Niky. I have been grooming a wide assortment of domesticated and wild animals for over 15 years. However, dogs and cats are the typical grooms that I handle. As you may assume, animals are my life and my prominent passion. I have personally been involved in and coordinated numerous animal rescues along with the rehab efforts that follow. I grew up always playing in the mountains and riding horses with a tremendous respect for the natural world that surrounds me. My husband and I have a farm with ducks, chickens, turkeys, goats, a cow, a pig, dogs, cats, and honeybees. Extra large dog breeds have my heart, such as Mastiffs, Newfoundland’s, Bernese mountain dogs… you name it! I love it! I have been able to create my own dream life with an array of beautiful, natural settings.
Alicia recently began working in the veterinary field and is very excited to be in animal care. She has enjoyed relaxing and engaging with animals of all shapes and sizes since she was little.
